either ways what they showed in the movie was wrong... eowyn fought in the battle only in her desperation to prove herself an equal of aragorn... whereas arwen, she is but a lady! damn adn glorfindel rescued frodo not arwen. moreover eowyn had a kind of despertion in herself and that's what tha turned aragorn off!

Chris: Arwen "ran" because she was smart. She knew that she couldn't "take on" the Wraiths, and if you Eowyn fans would be honest enough, you'd admit that Eowyn could "take them on" either. The fact remains, that Arwen WAS brave enough to FACE them. And if she had to, fight them. She could have given Frodo up, and fled for life, but she didn't. Arwen was smart, and brave. But that doesn't make her Superwoman.

If daddy and Gandalf hadn't stepped in she would have gotten her butt kicked. Eowyn rode with the men of Rohan through 2 charges of Sauron's forces, then hand to hand, killed the Witch King's ride then killed a being that was powerful enough to shatter Gandalf's staff. Yeah, that so true. Eowyn wasn't pure. But I still like her, but Arwen more. I think we all have to face the fact that they are both awesome & beautiful women. Liv Tyler is such a sweeheart, but I am not a fan of Miranda Otto. I'm not going to go into detail who I think is prettier, because it does not matter.

I'll tell you why Aragorn chose Arwen rather Eowyn! Because Eowyn was a PROSTITUTE!!!!! Aragorn would NEVER marry ANY girl who was any less than PURE! Arwen was pure in the heart! Eowyn..............I won't get into detail about her........
